These are the deals for this week.  As I was doing my coupons for today which I know the blog entry is late buy I've got 2 sick kids so I've had a slow day but I was wondering on the items that are 2/$3 or something for something if I could use a coupon for each item.  Example coffee 2/$5 could I use 2 coupons for $1.00 making it 2/$3?

Wednesday's update

There will be 3 inserts this week, 1 smartsource and 2 red plum's.  As I was looking through the preview of coupons I noticed that according to the CVS ad that came out today that starts sunday there are going to be some deals. 

Let me clarify my definition between a deal and a good deal.  A deal is an item that is on sale that you have a coupon for.  A good deal is an item that is on sale and you have a coupon for but you can get very very cheap or free.

To all the ones who are reading this blog I would like to thank you for taking that time to read it and I hope it is helping you out.

On one of the last posts that I posted I stated there was 2 inserts. Sorry I lied, if you buy a Daily News there is only one but if you buy a Tennessean there is two.  I haven't had time to do my couponing but just wanted everyone to know before they went and bought some papers expecting 2 inserts.  Sorry.  Tenneesean's are usually better anyway.

This is the last day of my savings week.  After totaling up my buys this week I've saved a total of $90.

Went to Wally world today to buy all my deals that I marked down Sunday and boy it was good.  I'm not going to lie I was expecting a little more but hey $70 I'll not complain.  I walked out with $161.59 worth of groceries and paid only....$91.29.  Great savings!!!!

Wednesday 11-3-10

In our town paper (Franklin) there is a new CVS ad and it has coffee for $2.49 with card and I still have my $1.00 coupon so total paid will be $1.49. Not bad considering Walmart sells it for $3.63.  There are going to be 2 inserts in this Sundays paper Red Plum and Smart Source.  I went to Walmart tonight and got a All You magazine and I believe it will be the last one I buy.  All the coupons are going to be in Sunday's paper so it wasn't really a good idea.

October 31, 2010 - November 6, 2010

This is how I will use this blog from now on.  Every Sunday when I do my coupons I write a list of what my opinion of the good deals are.  I will post this list on my blog.  I have saved a lot of money already on what I have learned from the coupon class but it's not only saving that I am doing it's also storing or stocking up.  I would like to post pictures every once in awhile of my "storage" pantry which is actually just a box lid on top of my dog pin that we don't use.  Once I can save up the money I would like to get a shelf but right now the box top will have to do.  This is my "deal list for this week".  And again if this helps you great if it doesn't sorry.  If you have questions leave a comment and I'll try to answer but remember I haven't been doing this long and I'm still learning.  c is for coupon.

Just starting

I went to a coupon class a couple months ago and it was the best $20 I have spent.  After doing it I thought it would be nice to share it with all my family and instead of doing it individually I thought a blog would be nice.  Most blogs about coupons from what I've seen shows all the stores and ads mine however will be what I've done each week and not all the ads or sales.  If it helps some that's wonderful if not sorry.
