2 inserts this sunday, red plum and smart source.  And yes I know i didn't post anything sunday.  The store where i buy my newspapers has stopped selling the tennessean and i had to get the courier journal which had all different kinds of inserts it was not very organized way of doing it but i promise i will post this sunday.

So I just get home from Walmart and I'm feeling a little awed and a WHOLE LOT pissed.  I can't believe that I've been doing this for 9 months now and I am still learning or realizing things.  Yes I've seen people do it or heard of people do it but I've never really paid attention to it myself and what is that.  Travel/Trial size.  I can't tell you how many coupons at the end of the month or they expire that I still have so I'm walking through walmart getting my bw that was .74 if i got it and i walk past the trial sizes so i stopped and was looking through my binders for coupons that would allow me to get those trial sizes and man A LOT of freebies trial size yes but trial size is better than throwing the coupons away so WOW.  To the bad i get to the register and the lady said i could not use my $2 off and my bogo coupons at the same time on the same thing.  i was trying to tell her that the bogo was a coupon for the free item and the $2 coupon was for the one i had to buy.  Needless to say i walked out without the bw and on the verge of not being a "Loyal" walmart shopper ever again.  Oh I love couponin but situations like this pees me off really bad.

My sister and the kids n I went to kroger today and bought diapers. The coupons we had u could only use 4 at a time so she got 3 n I got 3. The 3 I got were size 5 with 27 diapers in each with 3 coupons at $3.00 each I paid a total of $14.00. My sister got the same thing and she had the same coupons I had plus a $5 coupon for spending $20 n another in store deal for $5 for spending $25 her total was $4.51. That is a good saving....

There will be 2 inserts this sunday in the paper, smart source and p&g.  I also try to convey stuff I learn and I've learned 2 things this week.  Went to the gas station instead of walmart this last sunday to buy my paper cause it's closer to my house and while i was there i was going through the papers and a man gave me his coupons out of his paper and when he handed them to me i was shocked to see that he had more coupons than i was seeing in the paper i was buying while we were conversing the cashier got in the conversation and she said that the couriour journal paper had more and better coupons and sure enough there was 5 inserts in that paper.  the second thing i learned was that walmart price matched store brands example walgreens had their milk on sale for 2.49 and walmart price matched that. aint no telling how many times i've missed that sale.

Please someone tell me why I went to two of the website sources to find out what inserts are going to be on Sunday and they both said 2 inserts one being p&g and the other smart source and when I take my fat a to walmart and wait a d hour for the tennessean  which never shows and i end up going to gas station and there isn't a p&g in the d thing.  It's the last paper out in feb so I know it should have been there but I went thru 50 papers and didn't find a one.  Did anyone else get one or is it just me. so pissed. days like this makes me want to quit this

According to CVS in Franklin that even though the sales paper at the bottom of the ad has the dates Sunday through Saturday that when the Franklin Favorite comes out on Wednesday and has the ad in it that it is not the one that starts that Sunday it actually starts that Thursday.  So they have two sales adds in effect for 3 days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). 

I'm not the kind of shopper that "shop hops", I get all my stuff at Walmart and price match, I don't save as much as I prolly could but I just don't do that.  I don't really like the reward stuff like buy one crest toothpaste for $3.99 and get $3.00 back on rewards BUT at CVS you can do that and then turn right around and use that reward for another item instead of waiting another day.  I might could actually do that.

It's funny how newspapers work, I was looking at the BG newspaper this morning at my mom in laws and noticed that there were 2 smart source and 1 red plum so when i went to walmart to buy my papers I was looking through them and not one of them had all 3 there was only 1 insert so I ended up getting the Tennessee paper istead.  This week I bought four papers since there was 3 inserts and when i got home and started to seperate them one paper had 10 inserts in it the 3 that was suppose to be in there and 7 more of the thicker smart source. I've done this blog for awhile now and now have realized I haven't given credit to the person it's due.  Her name is Stephanie and she is one of my followers and what I've learned I've learned through her.  She held a class a few months ago at our church and even though when I left it crossed my mind what a waste she didn't really tell me nothing I didn't already know I now know differently that was the best 20 buck I've ever spent and have even thought about taking the class again to see if I missed anything the first time.   Every time I have emailed her a question she has always replied and she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  So thank you Stephanie for putting the knowledge out there and being so helpful.  People tell me all the time thank you for helping them out and the thanks really goes to you for opening up my knowledge about couponing.

Did you know that you can send your coupons to military overseas.  If you have coupons left that you do not use you are able to send them to the military or their wives and they are capable of using them up to 6 months past the expiration date on the coupon.  This is something I do at the beginining of every month.  If you do not know of anyone that could use them I send my coupons to two military wives, one in Italy and the other in Germany.  I've gotten permission from one of the wives to give her address so if you don't know of anyone and would like to do so she would love to have them.  Her name is Candy Ceaser (Candy Collins) and her address is
